2. Musk in China to discuss Tesla self-driving
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has landed in China ahead of reports he is planning to discuss the activation of self-driving in the communist country. Tesla, whose biggest market is China, wants to use data from the autonomous driving feature of its cars to help train its algorithm.

3. More norovirus cases than usual across Canada
Norovirus is spreading at a "higher frequency" than expected across Canada, according to the Public Health Agency of Canada. Cases of the vomit-inducing virus are up in 2024 compared with the five-year average.

4. Cat survives journey inside Amazon box
A cat has survived after being accidentally mailed hundreds of kilometres across the US. Galeana disappeared from her home in Utah earlier this month before popping up at an Amazon warehouse in California a week later.

5. Several killed as tornadoes cut through central US
Several people, including a four-month-old baby, have been killed after dozens of tornadoes ripped through the central US. Oklahoma was the worst-hit state, but Iowa, Texas, Nebraska and Missouri were also affected.
