ProSmart Enterprises Inc. (ProSmart) has become Accelerate Okanagan's first alumni or client to be publicly trading on the TSX Venture Stock Exchange.

ProSmart is a Kelowna-based media company focused on the sports software marketplace.

With creative and economical software, ProSmart supports coaches, managers, teams, players and families in over 1,500 registered governing bodies and associations spanning 100 different countries.

The software's platform effectively blends player, coaching, and team development content supported by a diverse suite of team management tools.

“ProSmart’s best-in-class approach to developing the quality of the player and the state of the game regardless of economic means, age, gender or skill level is an absolute game changer for the sports marketplace,” says Alan Schuler, ProSmart Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer.

The former Accelerate Okanagan alumni's team is strengthened by a team of sports influencers and strategic advisors such as former NHL star Wendel Clark.

“ProSmart is a great way for me to give back to the game I love, and to be a part of something new and innovative. I’ve been coaching my son for years and it’s exciting to now have a platform that keeps everyone in the community on the same page!” said Wendel Clark, NHL Alumnus and ProSmart Ambassador.

Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer Ty Summach gave plenty of praise to Accelerate Okanagan and the surrounding community.

“The tech scene in the Okanagan is quietly booming. Recent advancements like the new Okanagan Innovation Centre are boosting collaboration and driving growth," said Summach.

The Accelerate Okanagan programs gave us access to a highly-qualified set of mentors who have the experience and know-how to coach us through the challenges of building a successful startup.”

“This is another important milestone as Kelowna's technology ecosystem continues to grow and evolve. ProSmart is having a positive impact on the world of sports from the grassroots level to the highest level of elite competition and everything in between. I'm proud that such a company, having a major impact, is not only based in Canada, but in Kelowna where tech startups have all the resources needed to grow and thrive.” says Colin Basran, Mayor of Kelowna.
