With that being said, there are a few venues that have stood out for our readers as the best of the best in 2018, so here they are! The best music venues in Kelowna, as voted by you!

Gold - Kelowna Community Theatre

Next to Okanagan Lake in the heart of downtown Kelowna, the KCT is quaint and humble, yet has played host to shows of all varieties.

From ballet, plays and the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra to rockin’ acts like The Wild!, The Sheepdogs, Mother Mother, and The Tea Party along with legends Tanya Tucker, Steve Earle and Jann Arden, the KCT is known for its diverse spectrum of acts and cozy environment.

Silver - Mission Hill Winery

If you have yet to catch one of the winery's summer concert series, you may be wondering how a winery made the cut for Best Music Venue.

The outdoor amphitheater is truly a sight to see and hear. Rolling hills of green grass make for the perfect place to cozy up under the stars and become immersed in the talent in front of you.

Panoramic views of the stunning Okanagan landscape makes for a perfect backdrop, creating a one-of-a-kind outdoor concert experience.

The venue has hosted some big names, like Chris Issak, Sheryl Crow, Chris Botti and more.

Bronze - Prospera Place

More than just the home of our Rockets, Prospera Place has welcomed some of music’s brightest stars, spanning across various genres.

From Elton John, and Rod Stewart to Miranda Lambert and Keith Urban, Prospera has embedded itself as a premier stop on many touring musicians maps.

Not only do they get to host the legends, but Prospera makes sure to bring something for everyone. Including Marianas Trench, City and Colour, Glorious Sons and soon The Arkells.

In addition to hosting spectacular indoor shows, in recent years Prospera has taken things to a whole new level with their Rock the Lake festival. Converting their parking lot into festival grounds and welcoming some of Canada’s hottest classic rock bands.

Other nominees include: Fernando’s Pub, Doc Willoughby’s Pub, OK Corral Cabaret, Muninn’s Post, The Habitat, The Blue Gator and The Rotary Centre for the Arts.
