Back in April, we reached out to our readers for help in naming the best of the best people, places and businesses in Kelowna.
In May, we tallied your nominations and came up with a list for you to vote for your favourites in each category.
In June, we counted the votes and celebrated those who reached the podium at our Best of Kelowna party.
Now, we want to celebrate Best Of Kelowna year-round!
This bi-weekly series will showcase the top three winners of select categories and give you some facts about them to help you gain familiarity with who Kelowna voted as the top dogs in their respective fields.
Best of Kelowna: Pool and Spa Company
Where are you supposed to travel to for a vacation, when where you live is already a popular vacay destination? How about your own backyard!
Kelowna is simply too beautiful to spend too much time indoors, so it’s no wonder many of its residents choose to turn their yard into their own little oasis. This wouldn’t be possible without our local pool and spa companies who are determined to turn their client’s dream outdoor living spaces into realities. Here are the top three medalists for Kelowna’s Best Pool and Spa Company in 2017, as voted by you.

Valley Pool and Spa is showing much promise as a trusted pool and spa company in Kelowna after having won two Bronze and one Silver medal in the last three years, and now finally taking home Gold.
Silver: Sunshine Pools and Spas
For the past 30 years, Sunshine Pools and Spas has been turning Kelowna residents’ yards into beautiful outdoor living spaces. Sunshine Pools and Spas understands that designing and installing your pool or hot tub is just one part of the process, and they stay by their customers’ side to service and maintain their purchase for years to come. They also offer several other products to make sure their clients’ get the backyard oasis they were dreaming of.
Sunshine Pools and Spas also took home Gold for this category for the past three years.
Bronze: Wet Zone Leisure-Pool-Spa
Wet Zone’s large showroom in Kelowna boasts their many Coast Spas hot tubs, pools and even billiards. They treat their customers like family, and are determined to deliver excellent products and customer service.
This determination has clearly paid off, as Wet Zone earned their first Best of Kelowna medal this year.
