Dayna is in need of a furever home!

This sweet, spirited pup in need of a second chance!

BCSPCA

Dayna is a 6-year-old Pit Bull Terrier / Labrador Retriever, and came to the BC SPCA in Penticton through no fault of her own. She has a very loving and playful personality and is always excited to meet new people and new dogs.

She will need a slow introduction to other dogs as she can be a bit excitable at first—she absolutely loves to wrestle and play!

Dayna would thrive in an active home with folks who love to walk and hike often. She will need a fenced yard where she can explore, enjoy the sunshine and fresh air, and play safely.

Her new family should know that she is on a weight loss journey, and will need all the support she can get.

When she is not out playing or walking, she loves to snuggle up to her favourite people and get lots of pets and neck scratches.

She also knows basic commands like sit, but is working on learning more! She is a very strong girl, and she still pulls on leash when she is excited. She will need someone confident and patient as she continues to learn new skills.

Dayna is very food motivated, making training her a very rewarding and positive experience. She is always happy and eager to please!

Dayna is awaiting a dental surgery, she is currently available for foster-to-adopt until she has gone through surgery.

If you think Dayne would be a good match for you, submit a pre-adoption questionairre here. (Animal ID: 564172)
