About George!

Hi there, my name is George! I am a boxer/staffer cross and I am the sweetest pup you’ll ever meet.

First, let me tell you how I came to be in need of a home. You see, I did have an owner not too long ago, but due to financial difficulties, my owner couldn’t  keep me so he gave me away online (a big mistake, in my opinion!). Well, that second home turned out to be a dud, because I ended up as a stray wandering the streets of Vernon.

I couldn’t tell you how long I was homeless for, but by the time my rescuer found me I was not in the best of shape. I was emaciated and suffering from a hernia and an infected tooth. I was extremely grateful and relieved when a kind lady took me in and gave me food and shelter.

She is my foster mom right now, and she’s got me all fixed up! She raised money for me to get my tooth and hernia fixed, and I’ve been gaining weight back!

Personality Description

I am an extremely sweet, sensitive guy, and I would make a great companion for anyone who would be willing to give me a loving home. I am friendly with other dogs too, but I can be a little food possessive when they come near my bowl.

I know all the basic obedience stuff, and of course I’m house-trained so you don’t need to worry about that. You should probably know that I panic around horses, and I get really anxious in a kennel, but if you are as interested in spending time with me as I am with you, we would be great together. I just love being with people and all I want is to finally settle down in a forever home where I can be someone’s special snuggle bug.

I am neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adoption fee is $400. To learn more about me, reach out to Loved at Last Dog Rescue.
