This path is located in West Kelowna. From Highway 97, take the Glenrosa Road Exit. Stay on Glenrosa Road for just over 9 kilometres and turn left into the Telemark Nordic Club parking lot.
Description:
Don't own Snowshoes? No problem! Telemark has you covered and is a great place to get out and enjoy the snow this winter! With 50 km of groomed trails and five different snowshoe trails. From the beginner to the expert, there's something for everybody!
After going into the lodge, paying a trail fee, getting rentals (if needed) and grabbing a trail map, the choice is really yours! For those that have never snowshoed before or just want a shorter trail. The Chalet Loop or the Pine Forest Trail is a great warm up trail!
The Panorama Ridge Trail on the other hand, is one of my favorites! With two different shortcut options, don't get intimated by the 8 km length of this trail. With a good variety of up, down and flat, this trail truly makes your feel like you’re walking in a winter wonderland!
The first shortcut option, cuts the trail in half for a 4 km loop back to the lodge. The second shortcut, makes for a 6 km loop back. If you continue on for the entire Panorama Ridge Trail, you will get treated to a beautiful view looking west over the Connector. Staying along the well-marked trail, surrounded by beautiful trees and untouched snow, no matter the weather, I've always enjoyed this area!
After exploring the groomed trails, you can enjoy some warmth and a snack back in the lodge. Telemark has a great variety of trails for both snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Also, Thursday mornings there is a Women’s Weekday Snowshoe group that heads out at 9am every week!

Dogs are not welcome on Telemark property
Things to bring:
- Warm clothes (layers)
- Waterproof footwear
- Snowshoes/Poles (if you have them)
- Water/Snacks/Warm Drinks!
- Phone/Camera
Always remember to be mindful of your surroundings, pack out what you pack in, stick to the trails and happy exploring!
