Trail name: Sicamous Creek

Distance: The Falls - 0.5 km

Canyon Lookout - 2 km

Difficulty: Easy

Directions:

This trail is located in Sicamous. If you’re traveling along Highway 97, turn on Two Mile Road. Follow it until you reach the parking lot on the right.

Description:

This short, but cute trail takes you to a beautiful little waterfall along Sicamous Creek. The trail is only about five minutes and leads down a few stairs to the base of the falls. The rushing water falling over the impressively large, moss covered boulders has created smooth, marble looking rocks below.

The trail used to loop around along the creek and back to the parking lot, but due to a flood in 2012 the trail along the bank was washed away.

There is also a trail going east from the parking lot switchbacking up the hillside to a little bench and a great lookout of the canyon above Sicamous Creek.

Whether you are coming to explore the area or just passing through, it's a great place for a stretch and a scenic walk!

Always be mindful of your surroundings, pack out what you pack in, stick to the trails and happy exploring!
