Trail name: Cascade Falls

Directions

Located in Lumby, turn off Hwy 6 onto Lumby-Mabel Lake Road. Follow for 36 km and continue to follow for 15 km on the gravel logging road. About 1/2 km past the 15 km marker you will find a parking lot for two vehicles along the right side of a hairpin corner. There are no signs or markers.

Description

Take a walk into the beautiful, moss-lined canyon of Cascade Falls. This short but moderate trail is hidden just along the Lumby-Mabel Lake Road. From the 'parking spot,' the trail goes through the forest and above the moss lined gully.

As it winds down to the creek and in the canyon, the falls are soon visible. The sound of the cascading water grows louder as it echoes off the canyon walls. This amazing waterfall is mesmerizing and is a great place to cool off in the hot summer months!

This is a truly wonderful, untouched place to explore, please respect this hiking trail and all hiking trails!! Pack OUT what you pack in! Always be mindful of your surroundings and Happy Exploring!
