After an unforgettable ten-year journey as executive director of Kelowna Museums, Linda Digby is moving on and departing the position. While she leaves the role, her passion for museums and culture will always remain strong. A new leader has not been announced. 

Adam Rich is celebrating 20 years as the COO of Sentes Automotive, which includes Lexus of Kelowna, Kelowna Infiniti Nissan, and Kelowna Mercedes-Benz. In 2003, after a four-year career at General Motors of Canada, Adam passed an opportunity to transfer to Toronto and instead joined Sentes Automotive in Kelowna to assist in managing the family business. Rick Sentes began his retirement plan and Adam took over the operation of the group. On August 23rd, 1993, Gerry Fraser opened the sales centre at Gallagher’s Canyon and sold the first lot to Woody and Carol Robinson, who still reside at that property overlooking the 3rd Fairway of the highly rated Gallagher’s Canyon course. Chef Ana Gonzalez is the new chef at Vice & Virtue Brewing Co. at 1033 Richter Street. Chef Gonzalez immigrated from Costa Rica 14 years ago and was formerly with the Delta Grand Hotel. She believes in fresh, locally sourced, natural products with everything made from scratch in-house. Their specialty is the in-house smoker from Kansas City, with the beef brisket burger smoked for 12 hours. Along with the Beef Brisket burger, some of their most popular items are Pork Belly Burnt Ends, Smoked Chicken Wings and Pork Katsu Hotdog. Vice and Virtue offer a full variety of locally brewed draft beer with a true brew pub experience, along with flights, wine, cider, cocktails and nonalcoholic products. Concussion Care counsellors, Susan Smith and Michelle Tucsok play an important role in addressing the less obvious but highly important role of concussion recovery. During Michelle’s academic year from UBC Okanagan, she was involved in a research project that explored how athlete families navigate the challenges posed by traumatic brain injuries. This research allowed her to gain extensive knowledge of the physical, psychological and social impact of brain injuries and allows her to provide holistic and comprehensive support to client and their families. Susan is a Certified Canadian Counsellor with her Master of Counselling Psychology from the University of Victoria, her Bachelor of Education from University of BC and Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta. Susan knows firsthand the challenges and impacts a concussion has on a family, as her daughter suffered a severe brain injury in 2017 and Susan has participated intensively in her rehabilitation.
