Jenny Matheson is a 19-year-old Kelowna local who loves music. Between running her blog “Jenny Meets Music” and working, she has also found time to create and develop an idea to bring an all ages, genre-spanning concert to Kelowna that features BC musicians.

This show is known as Swamp Water, and it takes place at the Kelowna Forum on January 28th. The line-up will feature acts from as close as Kelowna and Vernon to as far as Vancouver.

Not only is this a great opportunity for music enthusiasts of all ages to get more involved with our local scene but all the proceeds from the event are going to the Vancouver chapter of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society.

KelownaNow met up with Jenny to learn more about her thought process behind this great idea, how the process of bringing this idea to fruition has been, more details on the show for those of you interested and more about this stellar girl's hopes for her future.

More Info!

If you are just as excited as I am to attend this show you can snag tickets for $20 at Naked Cafe and Burke Hair Lounge or you can reach out to Jenny herself. We hope to see you out supporting our local music scene and those in the community who work so hard to help it thrive.
