December 7th, 1963 Cliff Serwa and Doug Mervyn hit the switch to start the first lift at Big White Ski Resort. 49 years later Big White President, Mr. Peter Schumann presents Kelsey Serwa, granddaughter of Cliff Serwa and 2011 FIS Ski Cross World champion, Women’s Ski Cross Winter X Games gold medal champion and 2010 Olympian, the first Big White Gold Pass. Pass number 0001.
