The Westbank Community Radio Society (WDCR) will be live broadcasting the 2014/2015 season for hockey fans' enjoyment. All 58 regular season games will be broadcast, as well as all play-off games and two pre-season games. Both the pre-season games will be against the Penticton Vees, starting at 6:45 p.m. on Friday, September 5 and Saturday, September 6.

The games will be broadcast on 95.1 FM in West Kelowna, and they'll also be streaming online for free. WDCR also broadcast last season's games online.

Westbank and District Community Radio Society founder and President R.J. Smith called the Warriors “West Kelowna’s greatest export, ever” and says that aside from Westbank First Nations, the team is the area's most identifiable name.

Warriors President Mark Cheyne says, “As the Warriors hockey club and also, members of the Westside community, we are great believers in the need for West Kelowna to have its own radio station and unequivocally support this community endeavor.”

Smith in turn thanked Cheyne and the Warriors for their support of community radio and invited listeners to check out the games.

WDCR is a not-for-profit volunteer radio station that launched in July of 2013. Broadcasting 24/7, the station has listeners across Canada, in the United States, and in 16 different countries. They feature over 25 hours a week of local programs.

For this year's Warriors broadcasts, Kyle Anderson will be the play-by-play host as well as the Director of Media Relations for the Warriors.
