Madison Bowey made his presence felt in his season debut against the Prince George Cougars.

The three assists he earned on the power play were enough to earn him first star honours in the 8-2 victory of the Cougars.

The Cougars tried to play a rough and tough game with the Rockets but that only got them into penalty trouble and the Rockets made them pay going 5 for 9 on the man advantage.

Scoring for the Rockets were Rourke Chartier, Riley Stadel with a pair each, Nick Merkley, Carter Rigby, Kris Schmidli and Tyson Baillie with singles.

The win gives the Rockets the weekend sweep in PG out scoring them 15-4 in the two games and improves their record to 3 wins and no losses.

Jackson Whistle was awarded the win stopping 28 of the 30 shots that came his way.

The Rockets next game is a home game this coming Wednesday vs the Vancouver Giants.
