Burger Baron has been the home of "Kelowna's Best Burger" for generations. They've been at the Rutland Road location since 1979, and previous to that, they were located on Harvey (your grandparents might remember going there!). Burger Baron had closed their doors last August, but they have re-opened with a renewed passion for serving the best burger & fries in town (along with poutine, donairs, and milkshakes galore!). It's just as classic and delicious as you remember, if not even better.

Stepping inside is like stepping back in time to an old mom n' pop joint, where the prices are low and the quality is high. Staff will greet you with big smiles on their faces, and everyone sitting in the booths around can be seen happily devouring their food. It's fast food done right - fresh beef (never frozen), fresh produce, and quality ingredients used simply to make a delicious meal. It's this quality that clearly keeps people coming back -- for almost 40 years now!

One of the current employees, Faye Harley, has worked at Burger Baron for almost 17 years. Although a few things have changed, she claims that it's still almost exactly the same. Burgers are still made with that magical "burger sauce" and the crinkle-cut fries are still tossed in seasoning salt. Her favourite menu item? The single cheeseburger with bacon, but she recommends their breakfast options too!

Karin Morris, current owner and manager, has a tangible passion to "bring back Kelowna's best burger" and do it right. When she reopened at the end of February, they updated a few things in the shop, but kept as much as possible exactly the way that it has always been. She's helped create a really special space with a genuine, upbeat, and friendly energy; the perfect spot to go enjoy a delicious meal with a date, friends, or family.

There's truly no other place like it in Kelowna. Go for it! Treat yo self!
