Over the past two weeks several vehicles have been the caught on some stairs at the UBC campus in Vancouver, leaving pedestrians wondering how the heck they got there.

The cars ended up on the stairs after driving down a pedestrian pathway, far from where the actual road is located. The four vehicles that became stuck all jumped a curb, travelled on a pedestrian path and headed down the stairs, including a taxi cab. The University installed barriers at the top of the staircase to deter drivers from heading the wrong way again, and now students are poking fun at the incidents.

A group called Life of Bri made a satirical video of a boat and superhero also finding themselves stuck on the problematic staircase. The film group aren’t the only ones to poke fun at the lost drivers as the UBC Baja engineering students tackled the stairs as well.

The embarrassing incidents, which sparked a whole lot of laughter, also sparked creativity in the students on campus.
