2019-03-01 19:00:00 2019-03-01 20:30:00 America/Vancouver BananaTag presents Comedy for a Cause for Andrew Warden BananaTag, Kelowna's top tech company, is excited to partner with Kelowna Comedy to present Comedy for a Cause for local author Andrew Warden. At 7pm on Friday, March 1st, Kelowna Comedy, in partnership with BananaTag, is proud to present a fundraising comedy night for this important cause. The evening will feature Kelowna's top comedians performing their best material and all the money raised will go to help Andrew. BananaTag has generously sponsored this event and their contribution will help secure the best talent in the Okanagan Valley for this fantastic show. Many of the performers on this show have appeared on ShawTV, the Okanagan Comedy Festival, and Just For Laugh Northwest! Please take a moment to read Andrew's incredible story. My name is Andrew and I am an incomplete C-5 quadriplegic. I was injured in a near fatal motor vehicle accident. I was a passenger in the wrong car at the wrong time. Over the years, I have worked and struggled to improve my overall physical and mental health. I have tried numerous alternative medicine remedies which have helped in different ways. With the changes and progression in medical technology and therapies, far infrared is leading the way to better health. Circulation and cell regeneration would help me in ways almost unimaginable. Due to my condition and physical disability, I am unable to use conventional far infrared beds. My condition requires a standalone transferable far infrared unit located in my home. Although I do work hard as a published local children’s book author, I do not earn the money required to purchase one on my own. I do everything I can to help the people around me, but this time, I’m the one who needs help. I am asking for your help and support in securing the funds needed to buy the far infrared machine and change my life. Please come and show your support at Dakoda's Comedy Lounge. I thank you for your thought and consideration on this matter. I hope to see you at Dakoda's and showing your support. Sincerely helpful and hopeful. Andrew.
