The Sugarplum Ball
We are taking over the Downtown Kelowna Library for a night of fantasy & fairytales. This is the biggest queer event for "straight people" (come on, we are all on a spectrum). Step through the looking glass and enter our enchanted forest for the 4th annual Sugarplum Ball!
In 2015, Mayor Colin Basran was dubbed “Mayor Sugarplum” after approving the city’s first rainbow crosswalk. Mayor Basran’s community vision of acceptance led to the creation of the Sugarplum Ball - an event that strives to celebrate and embrace diversity in our community.
