Interim Solution to School Closures
Mind Over Learning Offers Continued Education in Language and Math
In light of the recent announcement that BC Schools will close indefinitely after Spring Break, Mind Over Learning, an established Learning Center in Kelowna, B.C., is prepared to provide a solution for parents seeking education alternatives.
At our center, we have always instructed in a one-on-one setting. However, for the first time, we are also offering small group classes in our Language and Math Skill Development programs to help families whose children will be affected by the interruption in their learning.
Parents can choose from 2 options:
Option 1: Small Group for Typical Learners: 2 students to 1 instructor
• 2-day morning classes (9:00-12:00 Tuesday / Thursday)
• 3-day morning classes (9:00-12:00 Monday / Wednesday / Friday)
• 5-day morning classes (9:00-12:00 Monday to Friday)
• 2-day afternoon classes (12:30-3:30 Tuesday / Thursday)
We may be able to open up more class times as need arises.
Option 2: One-on-One for High Support Learners
• 45-minute sessions (flexible scheduling)
• 90-minute sessions (flexible scheduling)
Students who received specialized support at school often require fewer breaks in learning to ensure that gaps in knowledge and abilities do not increase. Our center specializes in all learning challenges and disabilities, so your child will not be left behind.
To support our community and parents, Mind Over Learning will offer significantly discounted assessments and evaluations if booked on March 24, 25, and 26.
We also have Video Sessions available for our one-on-one students.
