IWC's Battle Hollywood Poetry Slam
It's that time of year again! Please join IWC for our yearly team slam. Team Old Hollywood vs. Team New Hollywood will battle for slam supremacy and cash prizes. Everyone is encouraged to dress up in your best Hollywood or celebrity-inspired costumes and come cheer on Kelowna's top performance poets. There will be a red carpet for all the celebs likely to show up to see the battle, so come out early paparazzi!
$15 at the door or via Eventbrite
This event is sponsored in part by the City of Kelowna. We thank them for their generous contribution.
The space is wheelchair accessible. There are two single-stall non-gendered washrooms. The Blackbox correspondent informed us that the bathrooms are large but not quite large enough to be fully accessible for people who use wheelchairs.
We respectfully acknowledge that we live and work in the unceded, ancestral territory of the Syilx people. It is a privilege to be able to put on events as uninvited guests on their land.
