An evening with cannabis expert Dr. Ethan Russo
Ethan Russo, MD, is internationally recognized as a leading researcher and expert clinician in the area of medical cannabis. He is a board-certified neurologist, and has published over thirty articles and chapters in neurology, pain management, cannabis, and ethnobotany. He is currently Past-President of the International Cannabinoid Research Society, former Chairman of the International Association for Cannabinoid
Medicines, and founding editor of Journal of Cannabis Therapeutics. In this talk Dr. Russo will explore differences across types of cannabis and the shortcomings of prominent cannabis typologies. He will draw on his groundbreaking research on the entourage effect and how the interactions among the diverse constituents of herbal cannabis such as THC, CBD and terpenes might influence the clinical effectiveness of cannabinoid medicines.
