If you haven't had a chance to visit the Rutland Lions Park located in Kelowna's family-friendly Rutland neighbourhood, you should.  This beautiful park is located just off of Grey Road and is a quiet space that is dominated by pines, making it a shady space to escape the hot summer sun and a great place to take the kids. The 2.1 hectare Rutland Lions Park is also home to a cenotaph, which is located at one end of the green space, and allows on-leash dogs in the park.

Click the Google Earth view map below for the live Google Map and location of this hidden gem of a park.

This residential park is 2.1 hectares large and also allows for dogs on-leash. Each fall, the Rutland Lions Park is home to an Annual Scarecrow Festival. Families and businesses join together in a scarecrow building competition and take in live entertainment while the kids take advantage of games, inflatable play stations, face painting and more. You can click here to see pics from the 2013 festival or read more about the 2013 fall festival.
