Travel within Canada will start to get cheaper in December.

Flair Airlines has announced that they’re adding direct flights from Kelowna to both Vancouver and Edmonton starting on December 15th.

From Edmonton, passengers will be able to catch a connecting flight to Toronto through Flair Airlines as well.

“We are thrilled to return service back to Kelowna, especially as passengers will be able to connect through to Edmonton, Vancouver and Toronto,” said Chris Lapointe, VP of Commercial Operations. “This is an exciting announcement for everyone at Flair.”

Flair is staying true to their low-cost service promise as well, with the Vancouver flights starting at just $69 one way.

KelownaNow is working to confirm the prices for flights to Edmonton and Toronto.

There will be four weekly flights to Vancouver, while Edmonton have three weekly direct flights through Flair.

“We’re very excited about the opportunity to grow our relationship with Kelowna’s own Flair Airlines,” said Sam Samaddar, YLW’s Airport Director. “With Kelowna as their home base, this partnership will create lasting benefits for Okanagan residents and the regional economy.”

Reservations aren’t yet available, but will be soon on Flair’s website or by calling 204-888-2665.
