Located on land rented from the Flathead National Forest, the resort tucked into the Salish Mountains is a pretty impressive hill that offers steep runs and plenty of that classic Interior champagne powder. 

Built in 1998, the Blacktail sits on 1,000 acres with a peak of 6,798 ft. elevation. It is a fully operating resort with 26 runs, the longest over a mile long, and an average yearly snowfall of 250 inches .

According to the Flathead Beacon, the sale includes the summit lodge, lifts, equipment and the special use permit from the Flathead National Forest.

If you do decide to pick up this steal of a deal, it's your choice whether to open it to the 40,000 annual visitors or just keep a private Montana ski resort for you and your friends.
