Konz Pizza in a Cone has been awarded the contract to start service in the park beginning this summer. A number of mobile food concessions set up for the summer in the park, but with Tacofina indicating they would not return for 2015, a vacant space was up for grabs. Konz has actually been awarded the contract for Stuart Park, but because of construction in this park, they will set up shop in City Park.

The new mobile food truck will operating from May 15th to September 15th annually for a term of three years, and this year they will begin serving on June 1st. Located near Cold Sands Beach, Konz will offer pizza in a cone for $8.00. The truck will be owned and operated by Kris Lawrie, who has been in the food business for 20 years.

Cones are 6.5 inches with five ounces of toppings in each, with the dough made from scratch and no oil included in the product. The cones will offer a healthy choice for those in the park as they include fresh vegetable, grains, dairy, and protein. Konz will also offer bottled beverages and side dish options such as root vegetable chips and mac and cheese. The new concession will accept cash, debit, and credit cards.
