The finalists are set for one of Kelowna’s signature events.
Eleven chefs will be competing over two days at the Canadian Culinary Championships on February 2nd and 3rd and now we know who those chefs are.
“We are thrilled to announce this talented line-up of chefs who will be making their way to Kelowna in February,” said Karen Blair, Co-Founder of the Canadian Culinary Championships. “Guests will witness their talent come to life during the three competitions.”
Tickets for the 2018 event are on sale and still available, but the event is anticipated to sell out once again.
Here are the chefs that will be competing, along with the province or city that they’re representing and what restaurant they’re from.
- British Columbia: Alex Chen (Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar in Vancouver)
- Edmonton: Shane Chartrand (SAGE)
- Calgary: Blake Flann (BLAKE in Canmore)
- Regina: David Vinoya (Wild Sage Kitchen & Bar)
- Saskatoon: James McFarland (University of Saskatchewan)
- Winnipeg: Mike Robins (Sous Sol)
- Toronto: Lorenzo Loseto (George Restaurant)
- Ottawa: Briana Kim (Café My House)
- Montreal: Éric Gonzalez (L’Atelier Joël Robuchon)
- Nova Scotia: Barry Mooney (Gio)
- St. John’s: Nick Jewczyk (The Fifth Ticket)
