It’s a wine tasting tour unlike any other.

The Okanagan most unique tasting event returns for one day only in June and it might be the date opportunity of the summer.

The Grand Sommelier Express will make two 75 minute trips on June 9th, starting from Summerland’s Kettle Valley Railway Station.

The event combines a heritage steam train ride with the best local food, drink and live music you could ask for on a beautiful Okanagan summer day.

Although it’s only a one-day event, you can choose from one of two time slots, 1 p.m. or 5 p.m.

You’ll do the wine tasting on board the train, but it’ll stop for a picture and restroom opportunity at the trestle.

The ride then culminates with an outdoor grazing reception complete with live music, food from Brodo Kitchen’s team of chefs, wine, cider and beer.

Attendees will also receive a souvenir wine glass to commemorate the day before they head for home.

Tickets for the 3rd annual Grand Sommelier Express can be purchased by clicking this link.
