There are a quite a few things that truly define the Okanagan. The lake, our wine, our community...and of course, our amazing orchards.

The Okanagan Valley is home to many local farmers producing fruit, apples, peaches, pears, apricots, plums, grapes and so much more.  One fruit, in particular that's a favourite everywhere, is the Okanagan cherry.

The sweet and tart, juicy, red fruit is cherished by the taste-buds of many fruit lovers.

We wanted to learn more about this fabulous fruit so we talked with Chris Pollock of BC Tree Fruits and several local restaurants to see how they incorporate the Okanagan fruit into their servings.
