Stay Wild Backcountry Skills

Why did you get into/start this business?
The year before start up I was asked by numerous females about running a snowmobile camp & splitboard camp for women. I combined this with my love for snow safety and Stay Wild was born.

What is the goal of your business?
To create a supportive & welcoming environment for people to learn in.

What has been your biggest struggle either at work or in life?

Balance, I work wayyy to much, drink way to much coffee and should probably sleep more.

If you could start all over again would you do things the same or would things be different?
I would do the same, the lessons & people I have met along the way shaped me & the company into where we are today. I am grateful for every success and failure that has taught me so much about myself and the business.

Just breathe, you got this.

Live in the moment! Cherish each day & be fully present no matter what you are doing.

Kimmy Fasani, she is such a bad ass snowboarder & mom. I look up to her in many ways & hear that she is a wonderful human with a heart of gold.

Why do you think it is important to shop locally?
As a business we would never survive if we didn't have local support. We need to support one another and spend our hard earned cash where it really matters.

Starting Stay Wild Backcountry.

Lindsay Doucette, she is an exceptional human with a heart of gold! Grateful to have her in my life & be my person to lean on along the way.
