Meet Corrie! Corrie is originally from Port Moody but is a local here in Kelowna at heart. He enjoys jet skiing out on the lake in the summer, carving up the slopes up at Big White in the winter, and spending some quality time with his partner, Meagan.

Where are you from and how long have you lived in Kelowna?

Port Moody and visit Kelowna every summer.

Who is your favourite person to spend time with and why?
My partner Meagan- because not only do we have an amazing relationship but we are always talking about our goals and our next mission.

What is your favourite local store in Kelowna and why?
Bouchons Bistro - amazing staff, super friendly and amazing French food!

Describe yourself in one word.
Progressing

If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?
Macedonia -  my grandpa who has always been my hero just passed away and I would love to see where he grew up and where his life began.

What is your favourite activity in Kelowna?
Jet skiing for sure - the closest thing there is to purchasing happiness! I love the lake and I love horsepower. Jet skiing is the best of both worlds!

What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?
When I went to secure my contract with Grant Cardone and I was asked to speak in front of his company, I choked up! On camera no less! I’ve never got my skin to reach that temperature!

Where do you volunteer or give back to in the community?
My church in downtown Vancouver-financially. I also donate my time to mentoring young professionals who reach out for help. I like to also ensure that my businesses serve people and the community through their projects. Our business is committed to educating young professionals -  I believe more businesses need to weave philanthropy with their pursuit of profits.

If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
Our education system. If we could educate people for the real world, I believe a lot of things would improve.

Where would you sneak away to in Kelowna to spend some time alone?
By myself?- Thunder Mountain Raceway. With Meagan - Big White!

Where would you like to see positive change in Kelowna and why?
Schooling - more after school programs dedicated to arts, sports, fitness, and entrepreneurship. I think it’s important, especially in the advent of legalized marijuana, that our youth have healthy outlets for their expression and development. I want to see more development programs for young people entering their teens and throughout high school.

What do you think makes Kelowna great?
Laidback and friendly people, an outstanding climate and great businesses.

How do people connect with you, personally, through social media? (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
@Corrielieff - Instagram, Corrie Elieff- LinkedIn and Facebook

What is the name of your business/organization?
YESA and Grant Cardone Canada

Why did you get into/start this business?

To create an avenue/academy that prepares people for the business world.

What is the goal of your business?
To create the largest rise of young professionals ever seen.

What has been your biggest struggle either at work or in life?
I recently fought a serious illness that the doctors claimed was incurable. This winter I had lost 65 lbs and 50’percent of my blood in a 5 week period.

If you could start all over again would you do things the same or would things be different?
Similar, but I would look after my health more. Specifically my gut!

What do you always find yourself saying?
"I need to level up."

Tell us your best piece of life advice.
"Listen to those who have what you want and have been where you are. Don’t take advice from everyone."

What has been your proudest accomplishment?

Achieving 2.6+ million in sales in our first year of business that started in my condo.

Give someone you think that deserves it a shout out and explain why!
My girlfriend Meagan for being by my side the entire journey, tolerating and dealing with my plethora of imperfections and for supporting me through my health battles this year. She is a true warrior and the definition of a great partner.
