Meet Justin and Megan Osborne! This lovely couple has been married for 25 years now and they've created something amazing together – a family, a wonderful home, and Osborne Transport.

Where are you from and how long have you lived in Kelowna?

Justin is from Alberta and Megan is from the Kootenays but we have lived in Kelowna for eight years now!

Who is your favourite person to spend time with and why?

Being married 25 years, we'd have to say each other! We are truly each others best friend!

What is your favourite local store in Kelowna and why?

Hillcrest – love the home made food and the local produce.

Describe yourself in one word.

Determined.

If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?

We'd love to go to Ireland, love the scenery from photos.

What is your favourite activity in Kelowna?

We love the lake and enjoying the beautiful surroundings of our Okanagan Valley.

What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?

Both we could say falling down in front of people lol.

What is the most inspiring thing that has happened to you?

We would both say our three children! We have one daughter and two sons who we've loved raising and watching grow to adults. Now we have a year and half old granddaughter. The experience of now having a grandchild is seriously the most fun we've had yet!

Tell us your favourite childhood memory.

We both come from big families so being with our siblings, growing and learning and laughing would be the best memories growing up!
Justin has five brothers, and Megan four sisters and one brother.

Where do you volunteer or give back to in the community?

We always donate for mental health and for kids in need.

If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?

To never give up on what you believe.

Where would you sneak away to in Kelowna to spend some time alone?

Any beach, the water is relaxing.

Where would you like to see positive change in Kelowna and why?

Working together to keep our community safe for our families to grow!

What do you think makes Kelowna great?

Always something for families to do in summer and the ski hill in the winter!

What are 3 things on your bucket list?

More travelling
Watching our family grow
Keeping healthy and fit

Tell us something that not everyone may know about you.

We met in Cache Creek, B.C.

How do people connect with you, personally, through social media? (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)

We are on Facebook and Instagram for our business.

What is the name of your business/organization?

Osborne Transport.

Why did you get into/start this business?

Moved from Alberta and worked for a courier business then decided to start up on our own, as a family! We have one son working with us already!

What is the goal of your business?

Our goal is to work hard to give good customer service and that people can count on us.

What has been your biggest struggle either at work or in life?

As we have grown older, having big experiences in life, I guess we'd say not worrying about the things we can't change.

If you could start all over again would you do things the same or would things be different?

Do things without fear or second guessing ourselves.

What do you always find yourself saying?

We can do this!

Tell us your best piece of life advice.

Love your family, your children and good friends.

If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select?

Oh thats a tough one!
Doctor Oz maybe, we love to be healthy and age gracefully as we can!

Why do you think it is important to shop locally?

As a family running a business, we know the importance of support other local business. They are families, too, making a living for themselves.

What has been your proudest accomplishment?

Our children.

Give someone you think that deserves it a shout out and explain why!

Kyle Wilson CEO of HMCF.ca. He has been extremely helpful with us when we needed financing for our business needs!
