Meet Lindsay. Lindsay was born and raised here in the Okanagan! She enjoys taking advantage of the countless outdoor activities Kelowna has to offer and sharing special moments with her children. 


Where are you from and how long have you lived in Kelowna?
Born and raised in Lake Country.

Who is your favourite person to spend time with and why?
My kids- they make me look at things differently and allow me to slow down and take in the special moments.

What is your favourite local store in Kelowna and why?
Dare to Dream - always find treasures within.

If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?
Bali!! I've always wanted to go and partake in a yoga retreat.


What is your favourite activity in Kelowna?
Tie between hiking and being on the lake.

Tell us your favourite childhood memory.
All the memories I have camping with my family every summer. Those are the BEST memories in my entire life and I am so grateful to have those experiences.

Where do you volunteer or give back to in the community?
This past holiday season, my mom and I filled bags full of hygiene products, socks, toques, etc, and handed them out to the less fortunate on the streets of downtown Kelowna.

If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
For people to stop being so judgemental.


Where would you sneak away to in Kelowna to spend some time alone?
Top of Spioncop mountain.

What do you think makes Kelowna great?
The opportunity to enjoy the countless lakes and mountain trails.

What are 3 things on your bucket list?
1. Travel to Bali
2. Build my dream house
3. Take yoga training

Tell us something that not everyone may know about you.
I've run 4 half marathons, one of them just 3 months after having my daughter.

What is the name of your business/organization?
The Aura Office

Why did you get into/start this business?
I love being the "behind the scenes" person, and I wanted to be able to use my best skills to help others.

What is the goal of your business?
To assist business owners to maintain and grow their business by assisting in administrative tasks remotely.


What has been your biggest struggle either at work or in life?

Confidence in my skill set - Starting my own business has really pushed me to believe in myself and I've now reached a point where I can see my full value. (with the help of some amazing friends and family!!)

Tell us your best piece of life advice.
"Be aware of your energy."

If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select?
Oh, that's hard - depending on my mood either James Franco, Maria Brink, or Ellen!

Why do you think it is important to shop locally?
To support local people; your neighbours, your friends, your community.

What has been your proudest accomplishment?
100% my kids.
