Meet Michelle. She has lived in Kelowna for four years. She is a real estate agent and gives back to the community by organizing fundraisers for the BC SPCA. 



Where are you from and how long have you lived in Kelowna?
4 years

Who is your favourite person to spend time with and why?
I just can't pick one person! There are so many people that I enjoy spending time with depending on what we are doing.

What is your favourite local store in Kelowna and why?
The Lake House - Home is where my heart is.

Describe yourself in one word.
Ambitious

If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?
Hawaii. I want to help in a turtle hatching, swim with the sharks, pick fresh pineapples and hike unto the waterfalls.



What is your favourite activity in Kelowna?
Hiking, especially up Knox Mountain

What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?
I honestly can't think of one, I rarely get embarrassed.

What is the most inspiring thing that has happened to you?
Every day my job is inspiring. I feel so blessed and grateful when I make a positive impact on my client's real estate investment. I feel confident that I am able to negotiate and protect my client's best interest. Their gratitude inspires me.

Tell us your favourite childhood memory.
Every summer we would spend time on the island with my extended family. The west coast is just magical with the ocean, rain forest and mountain ranges. Not to mention all the love and food I received.

Where do you volunteer or give back to in the community?
I like to contribute to many causes but one that is close to my heart is BC SPCA. One of the things I like to do is organize a fundraiser every Christmas for items that are needed on their wish list. Follow me on Facebook and Instagram if you would like to contribute.



If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
That the human race would be more compassionate to other's and animals.

Where would you sneak away to in Kelowna to spend some time alone?
I would head to a quiet spot that I love in Lake Country that I can be alone, enjoy nature and recharge by the lake.

Where would you like to see positive change in Kelowna and why?
Having lived in Vancouver the last 12 years I would love to see more arts and culture. It would be so nice to see more communities coming together. It is slowly happening and I love it.

What do you think makes Kelowna great?
The friendly people, weather and my favourite.... all the amazing wineries!

What are 3 things on your bucket list?
1. To make a social impact with my business. Promoting Sustainability and Compassion.
2. Tour Europe
3. Learn another language



Tell us something that not everyone may know about you.
When I was young I wanted to be a Vet.

What is the name of your business/organization?
Michelle Ng - Re/Max Kelowna

Why did you get into/start this business?
I fell in love with Real Estate by the impact I can make on a person's biggest financial decision. I love to negotiate and protect my clients. I really hope they feel and know I care about them.

What is the goal of your business?
My goal is to build a business based off of referrals, I love working with great like minded people.



What has been your biggest struggle either at work or in life?
I think this is everybody's struggle. Work/Life balance.

If you could start all over again would you do things the same or would things be different?
I would keep things the same. Everything that I have accomplished and my struggles have made me who I am today.

What do you always find yourself saying?
Does that make sense?

To focus on the moment.

If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select?
Oprah! The lady is a genius, I would love some of her energy to rub off on me. To build and empire and make social changes at the same time.



Why do you think it is important to shop locally?
Coming from a family of small business owners it is so important to support the people of the community and support their local economy.

What has been your proudest accomplishment?
Would be receiving 100% Club award year after year.
