Meet Morrgen! She's a mother of three and bakes healthy and delicious gluten-free baking! 



Where are you from and how long have you lived in Kelowna?    
I am from Victoria and have lived here for three years.

Who is your favourite person to spend time with?
Patricia Davis.

What is your favourite local store in Kelowna and why?
Farm Bound.

Describe yourself in one word.
Vibrant.

If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?
Wales, I miss my family!



What is your favourite activity in Kelowna?
All of the year round outdoor activities!

What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?
I was at an event to celebrate the Eskimos Grey Cup win, and I asked when Dave Cutler was going to be there... I was speaking to him without even realizing it! 

What is the most inspiring thing that has happened to you?
Realizing we only have one life to.live, so to make it count!

Tell us your favourite childhood memory.
Finally being tall enough to climb a tree at Delton.



Where do you volunteer or give back to in the community?
I donate my Gluten Free products to the food bank, and I help women in recovery.

If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
Starting my own business years earlier than I did.

Where would you sneak away to in Kelowna to spend some time alone?
Any quiet spot along the lake.

Where would you like to see a positive change in Kelowna and why?
A breakfast and lunch program for lower-income families, and to teach children what proper nutrition is. Everyone should have access to food.

What do you think makes Kelowna great?
The people.

What are 3 things on your bucket list?
1. Buy C cans and turn them into low-income housing.
2. Go sky diving.
3. Visit the Myan Ruins.

I was born in Wales.

What is the name of your business/organization?
Morrgens All Glutenfree.

Why did you get into/start this business?
Having Celiac disease and multiple allergies, there was never anything to eat!

What is the goal of your business?
To one day have a store front or run a commercial kitchen with my products.

What has been your biggest struggle either at work or in life?
To believe in myself.



If you could start all over again would you do things the same or would things be different?
Different, I would have started my own business years ago.

What do you always find yourself saying?
We are all snowflakes on different journeys.

Tell us your best piece of life advice.
Get up every day and keep going no matter what happens. Life is life!

Why do you think it is important to shop locally?
Keep the doors open, support local, shut down big business.

What has been your proudest accomplishment?
Giving birth to 3 amazing people

Give someone you think that deserves it a shout out and explain why!
