Meet Sarah Blackmore, Dan Blackmore & Michael Ringland! They are from Victoria and opened their restaurant here in Kelowna last February. They enjoy wine touring at the local wineries, spending time with their children, and sharing their delicious burgers with the community.


Where are you from and how long have you lived in Kelowna?

We are from Victoria BC. Opened our location in Kelowna in February.

Who is your favourite person to spend time with and why?
Our kids! MICHAEL: Jess, Jaillyn, Ella - SARAH & DAN: Brooks and new baby January 2020.

What is your favourite local store in Kelowna and why?
BNA Brewing Co. - Great Vibe and have been so welcoming to us since opening in Kelowna.

Describe yourself in one word.
Impulsive - We love trying new ideas!

If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?
Eat our way through Europe

What is your favourite activity in Kelowna?
Wine Tours!

What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?
Sarah gives terrible TV interviews... too many awkward ones to mention haha


What is the most inspiring thing that has happened to you?

Seeing our loyal customers grow with us since we opened our first location in 2011.

Sarah - Spending time at the family cabin in the Okanagan
Dan - Growing up on a farm
Michael - Driving across Canada

Where do you volunteer or give back to in the community?
We love to donate to local organizations with our Feature Burger sales. For September,r we are donating 50 cents from every featured burger sold to Tour de Rock.

If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
More kindness

What do you think makes Kelowna great?
The people, so welcoming and awesome!

Tell us something that not everyone may know about you.
We signed the lease of our first location before we even developed the Bin 4 Burger Lounge concept. It was a crazy and fun summer of 2011.

Balance - But our awesome team makes it possible!

If you could start all over again would you do things the same or would things be different?
Nothing, it is all about the journey.

"Don't sweat the small stuff."


Why do you think it is important to shop locally?

You support local families in the community.

What has been your proudest accomplishment?
Building an awesome Bin 4 family. Over 300 employees who are truly awesome and so hardworking!
