What is your name?
Stacy Leduc.

Where are you from and how long have you lived in Kelowna?
I was born in Kelowna. I moved away in my early 20's to Ontario and I have been living back in Kelowna for the last five years.

Who is your favourite person to spend time with and why?
My son Ethan, he is so lovable and adventures with him are the best.

If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?
It’s been a dream of mine to go to Disneyland,  I’m a big kid at heart.

What is your favourite local store in Kelowna and why?
Scallywags - they have great kids clothes.

What is your favourite activity?
I love the beach and boating.

If you had to choose: pizza, tacos, or burgers?
Pizza.

What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?
A girl has to keep some things to herself.

What is the most inspiring thing that has happened to you?
Opening my own business.

Tell us your favourite childhood memory.
Some of my favourite memories include the Armstrong fair, camping in the Shuswaps, and spending hours in the backyard on the trampoline. I also enjoyed Wet 'n' Wild Waterlides and the Flintstones theme park.

Where do you volunteer or give back to in the community?
I volunteer at my son’s school. I’m also a volunteer minister in my congregation and offer my time teaching free home bible studies .

If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
No more sickness, especially mental health.

What is your favourite activity in Kelowna?
Zumba in the park.

Where would you sneak away to in Kelowna to spend some time alone?
Bertram Park.

Where would you like to see positive change in Kelowna and why?
More free parking.

What do you think makes Kelowna great?
The four seasons and mild winters.

What are 3 things on your bucket list?
1. Ride in a helicopter
2. Ride in a hot air balloon
3. Horseback riding

Tell us something that not everyone may know about you.
I love a bargain. Thrift stores and garage sales make me happy, it's even better if the deal is free!

How do people connect with you, personally, through social media?
Facebook  and Instagram.

What is the name of your business/organization?
Squeaky Clean.

Why did you get into/start this business?
It was just a passion of mine.

What is the goal of your business?
To continue giving my clients 100% satisfaction.

What has been your biggest struggle either in work or life?
A member of my family suffers from severe depression, it has certainly been a challenge.

If you could start all over again would you do things the same or would things be different?
I would have to say I would do things the same. If I hadn’t had all my experiences up until now, I wouldn’t be in the great place that I’m in.

What do you always find yourself saying?
'Just keep swimming.'

If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select?
My mom.

Why do you think it is important to shop locally?
It's important  to support our community and our neighbours.

What has been your proudest accomplishment?
This may sound strange, but passing my drivers test.

Give someone you think that deserves it a shout out and explain why!
My husband, for always supporting me and giving me the courage to follow my dream.
