 Meet Stewart! He's from Vancouver, and moved to Kelowna 5 years ago with his wife and kids ! 



Who is your favourite person to spend time with and why?
My wife and kids, because they are my favorite people.

What is your favourite local store in Kelowna and why?
Bluetail sushi on Commerse because it has the best sushi in Kelowna!

Describe yourself in one word.    
Driven

If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?
New York with my wife, because we have always wanted to travel there.

What is your favourite activity in Kelowna?    
Golfing

What is the most inspiring thing that has happened to you?    
I quit a company that I had worked for after 20 years to open my own company and a number of employees, vendors and clients followed me. This inspires me to give it my all every single day.

Tell us your favourite childhood memory.
One of my favorite memories is going to my fathers construction sites with him on the weekends, and being able to run the equipment that they had on site.

Where do you volunteer or give back to in the community?
I am a sponsor at the YMCA golf tournament every year in Kelowna. I am hosting a charity golf tournament this year to raise money for the Parkinson's society in Kelowna.

If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?    
Drug and alcohol addiction

Where would you sneak away to in Kelowna to spend some time alone?
Tower Ranch to Golf




Where would you like to see positive change in Kelowna and why?    
I would like to see positive change in the housing market, it would be nice to have more affordable options for lower income families.

What do you think makes Kelowna great?
The lakes, mountains and people!

What are 3 things on your bucket list?
1.Travel to New York
2.Travel to Europe
3.Shoot my age in Golf

I love Romantic Comedies

Parke Pacific Projects Ltd.

Why did you get into/start this business?
Because I love building.

What is the goal of your business?
Provide turn key construction solutions and quality projects.

What has been your biggest struggle either at work or in life?    
Balancing work and family.



If you could start all over again would you do things the same or would things be different?
I would do a few thing differently but not much.

What do you always find yourself saying?
Trust me, I've got this!!

Treat others as you want to be treated

If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select?
My wife

Why do you think it is important to shop locally?
To support our community!

My kids

Some general comments I would like to share are:
Moving to Kelowna has been the best decision for my family, we settled in the Rutland area, and we love it. My house, office and our kid's school (Heritage Christian) are within minutes of each other. We love our local shops, and we have no plans of leaving.
