Where are you from and how long have you lived in Kelowna?    
I am from Maple Ridge B.C and have lived in Kelowna for 4 years now.

Who is your favourite person to spend time with?
My wife is my favourite person because she is my best friend and is always supportive while keeping me accountable. 

What is your favourite local store in Kelowna and why?
Third Space Coffee. The atmosphere is amazing and their cause is always worth supporting 

Describe yourself in one word.
Motivated.



If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?
DisneyWorld because it’s awesome.

What is your favourite activity in Kelowna?
Golfing. 

What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?
Splitting my pants while I was training a client. 

What is the most inspiring thing that has happened to you?
Training a client who is partially paralyzed and after our training he is able to walk again. He is the most motivated and strong-willed person I have met to get better and it is really inspiring.

Tell us your favourite childhood memory.
Going to Disneyland when my family first moved here from South Africa in 1994. 



Where do you volunteer or give back in the community?
I am really supportive through donation to various organizations but I have done the most work with Alleycats Alliance and The Humane Society. 

If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
Poverty. 

Where would you sneak away to in Kelowna to spend some time alone?
Bertram park to be by the water.

Where would you like to see a positive change in Kelowna and why?
The homelessness and the drug issues in Kelowna it’s becoming an epidemic and people aren’t getting the proper care and resources they need.

What do you think makes Kelowna great?
The diversity and support of the local businesses from the community.

What are 3 things on your bucket list?
1. Go to the UK
2. Meet Elon Musk 
3. Become a solid resource for people looking to get help

I played professional Hockey for Detroit and SAN Joses Farm teams

Functional Patterns Kelowna 

Why did you get into/start this business?
So I could help people in the best way I know to be true through research and results.

What is the goal of your business?
To be a staple in the community for those looking for help where other systems have failed them. 

What has been your biggest struggle either at work or in life?
Getting the community to understand that Functional Patterns is not just working out with a trainer. Functional Patterns is breaking through to the medical and fitness industries as a wholistic approach to health. 

If you could start all over again would you do things the same or would things be different?
No.



What do you always find yourself saying?
Be Objective.

Tell us your best piece of life advice.
Always do your own research and don’t believe everything that people tell you at face value and trust your instincts. 

If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select?
Elon Musk., 

Why do you think it is important to shop locally?
So the community grow and flourish. 

What has been your proudest accomplishment?
Opening a Functional Patterns Facility.

Naudi Aguilar he created and is paving the way for Functional Patterns for over a decade now and has helped thousands with the results of Functional Patterns training techniques.
