Five things you need to know

1. ISIS takes credit for Wednesday attacks in London

Less than 24 hours after the attacks near the London parliament buildings, ISIS has claimed the attacker was a soldier of the Islamic State. Numerous english news sources are reporting that news after it was initially published by Nashir Channel. Wednesday’s attacks in London killed four people, including the attacker.

2. Team U.S.A. wins the 2017 World Baseball Classic

The states have their first World Baseball Classic title. Team U.S.A. beat Team Puerto Rico 8-0 on Wednesday night to take home the title. The Americans were led by Toronto Blue Jays’ pitcher, Marcus Stroman, who took a no hitter into the seventh inning of the championship game. With the World Baseball Classic out of the way, the regular season is just around the corner.

3. Mother Mother rocks out at the Kelowna Community Theatre

Kelowna was treated to a fantastic concert on Wednesday night courtesy of Vancouver-based indie rockers, Mother Mother. After the opening act K.Flay got the crowd going, Mother Mother played a fantastic 90 minute set to a pumped up crowd at the KCT. Check out the full recap below.

4. A major flub on Wheel of Fortune has everyone laughing

There have been some classic Wheel of Fortune mess ups over the years, but one from yesterday’s show has the internet in a frenzy. With every letter except one on the board, a contestant named Kevin guessed “A Streetcar NaKed Desire” instead of “A Streetcar Named Desire.” The lady that was up next cleaned up the game with ease.

5. March Madness gets going again today

The field was narrowed down from 64 to 16 teams last week and after a three day break, the action resumes on Thursday. There are four games tonight, starting with Oregon taking on Michigan at 4 p.m. Number one seeds, Gonzaga and Kansas, are also in action tonight.
