Five things you need to know

1. An Australian senator gave a speech in parliament while breastfeeding her baby

Talk about multi-tasking… Australian senator Larissa Waters has made history again just one month after breastfeeding her child while on the floor in Federal Parliament. This time she took it a step further by breastfeeding her child while giving a speech in parliament.

2. Connor McDavid wins MVP and is named NHL 18 cover athlete

It was quite the night for Edmonton Oilers’ captain Connor McDavid at the NHL awards on Wednesday. The 20-year-old took home multiple awards, including league MVP, and was also named as the cover athlete for NHL 18, which comes out this fall.

3. Prince Harry says that no royal wants to be king or queen

Prince Harry is making serious headlines thanks to a comment he made during an exclusive interview with Newsweek. The 32-year-old prince said, “is there any one of the Royal Family who wants to be king or queen? I don’t think so, but we will carry out our duties at the right time.” You can read the entire interview here.

4. Teenage boys wear skirts to school to protest a dress code rule

A number of boys from Isca Academy in the UK wore skirts to school on Thursday. The school’s dress code says that boys can’t wear shorts to school and the area is dealing with a significant heatwave, so the boys donned skirts to both beat the heat and protest the silly rule.

5. Packers fan marries a girl with the last name Packer, so he took her last name

A man from Wisconsin, who by no surprise is a diehard Green Bay Packers fan, just got married and he took his wife’s last name for the best possible reason.
