Everyone knows that the heyday of The Simpsons was their first 10 or so years.

The first decade produced so many classic jokes that are still referenced on a daily basis.

One of the better early episodes is called “Homerpalooza”, in which Homer joins a touring festival featuring bands like the Smashing Pumpkins, Sonic Youth and Cypress Hill.

At one part of the episode, Cypress Hill accidentally orders the London Symphony Orchestra to be a part of their set.

They make the best out of the accident and the symphony even performs a bit of the group’s classic song “Insane in the Brain.”

Fast forward 21 years and through the power of social media, Cypress Hill and the London Symphony Orchestra look like they’ll actually team up for a collaboration.

The whole exchange, of course, was sparked by the old scene from The Simpsons.

Now we can only wait and hope that this Twitter talk comes to fruition and a collaboration is actually made.
