Well, this isn’t something you see every day.

Toronto residents close to Lake Ontario were recently treated to a spectacle when Walt Disney Studios transformed the Empire Sandy tall ship into a massive projection screen to promote the newest installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean saga.

A video of the event was uploaded to Facebook by Walt Disney Studios.

“The dead have taken command of Lake Ontario,” reads the caption of the video. “A ship in Toronto’s harbour has been taken over by deadly ghost sailors and they’re hunting pirates!”

In the video, the ship can be seen animated by flames and visuals of pirates battling it out to the death while the downtown Toronto skyline sits in the background.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales will hit theatre screens in Canada this Friday, May 26th.

The fifth installment of the saga will feature the return of Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley and Geoffrey Rush.
