Winners have been announced in the Dog Photographer of the Year competition.

Entries from all over the world were taken between October and March, looking to find the best dog pictures and photographers for the year of 2016.

In total, there were 10 categories that all featured first, second and third place winners, as well as a small Special Mentions category.

This year’s panel of judges was made up of a variety of people, including a professional dog photographer, a representative from a photography school and a magazine editor.
