No longer will vegans be subjected to only eating fries at McDonald's.
At least in Finland.
The ultra-famous burger joint McDonald’s is officially piloting a new plant-based burger in Scandinavia.
The "McVegan" debuted earlier this week at McDonald’s in Tampere, Finland, where it is described as a 100% vegetable-based hamburger featuring a soybean patty dressed with “Vegan McFeast sauce” and tomatoes, lettuce and pickles on a bun.
Yum? Gross? Weird? Probably a mix of all three, but meatless eaters from across the globe are certainly intrigued.
I'm #vegan, and I'd go to @McDonalds to order the #McVegan in a heartbeat (as long as the beef/dairy powder is removed from the fries). ๐โ๐

Does it repeatedly tell you it’s a McVegan too until it’s all eaten?

"The McVegan, which is somehow simultaneously a no-brainer and a word that feels very, very wrong." https://t.co/zIYf6VSHjS via @people

If the pilot project is well received, the McVegan could become soon be available in North America. Would you try a McVegan?
