Rachel Cohen is a Washington DC born artist and extremely passionate hockey fan, one who shows her passion for the game, just as much as any self-respecting true-blood Canadian would! This makes Cohen unique as an American artist, as well as a hockey fan, from a Canadian perspective anyway.

Like millions of other people across North America, Cohen is also a fan of the HBO series ‘Game of Thrones’. As is displayed in her artwork, the University of Hartford Graduate is not shy to mix her passions, and did so in a way that NHL and Game of Thrones fans can be proud of.

These NHL ‘sigil banners’ are becoming extremely popular around the United States, as fans of Cohen’s work sport her T-shirts bearing the logo of their favorite teams and their favorite show all in one. Cohen sells the shirts on her blog “Russian Machine Never Breaks”, which focuses on, if you hadn’t guessed it, the Washington Capitals.
