Remains Identified as Missing Kamloops Woman

Kamloops RCMP has identified human remains found southeast of Kamloops, bringing a tragic ending to the case of a missing woman.

The remains, found on June 1st have been identified as 26 year old Samantha Paul of Kamloops. Paul was reported missing on September 9th, 2013 and tips received by police led investigators to the Lower Mainland and Calgary.

Investigators have not ruled out foul play but are keeping tight lipped about how she died. Paul’s mother and other family members had been involved in the investigation since the early stages.

In a plea to the public Shirley Paul stated “I love Samantha very much. I miss speaking to her every day. If anybody knows anything please call the police. Help me find my daughter.”
