North Vancouver RCMP is appealing to the public for help for the search of a local couple who have been missing for 20 years.

Since August 11th, 1994 Nick and Lisa Masee have been reported missing after they failed to show up at a downtown restaurant in Vancouver. At the time of their disappearance police say Nick had recently retired as an investment banker and was involved in stock promotion.

Rumours surrounding their disappearance have swirled over the past 20 years as to whether or not the couple met an untimely demise, or if they are perhaps enjoying the high life on some deserted island.

RCMP has pursued numerous leads but since have no idea what happened to the Masee’s. Nick has a son and daughter from a previous marriage, both of whom live overseas. Nick is a Caucasian male, 170 cm (5’7) tall and would be 75 years old today. Lisa is an Asian female, also 170 cm (5’7) tall and would be 59 years old.

Investigators are asking that anyone with knowledge surrounding their disappearance to come forward with that information. Anyone with any information can call Cpl. Gord Reid of the North Vancouver Serious Crime Section at 604-985-1311 or they can call Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
