A man out for walk on Saturday found human remains by the Nicomekl River in Langley, B.C.

RCMP members confirmed the man's story and, with the help of the RCMP Dive Team and the Langley City Fire-Rescue Service, retrieved the body. Fraser Valley Search and Rescue were also brought in to do a search of the area.

Though the identity of the body has been confirmed, no details are being released until next of kin is notified. A forensic autopsy should be completed early this week.
