Remember when we were kids and we would ask all the questions all the time about all the things?
'But why?’
'How come?’
'Where are we going?’
'What are we doing?’
‘Why?’
We asked questions to understand something and use it in the future. Asking questions is the way we learned when we were little. Asking questions can be one of the most potent ways to keep learning as adults.
We can create clarity around something that feels muddy + messy. We can understand our thoughts, feelings and emotions by simply asking.
The funny thing is that somewhere along the way - on our path to becoming more adult-like - we stopped asking questions, we stopped being curious, we stopped using our voice for our own growth.
If we take this deeper beyond the surface, asking questions & seeking answers about your past can be helpful to heal where you’re at in the present.
This is powerful to become clear on what you want your life to feel like. It takes a sense of bravery and courage that you can’t find just anywhere, it comes from inside of you.
On the flip, asking questions of your future can also be really powerful to create those fulfilled-life-feels. If we simplify what it means to ask questions about your future, it is introspection. It is that lens that allows you to peer inside you.
And you know what? Sometimes, introspection is hard. It can be hard when you’re unsure. Reflecting on that deep inward part of yourself can be hard when you don’t know what you want. It’s hard to find the right questions to ask yourself.
And if we come back to the idea that we have that same bravery and courage inside of you to heal your past, you most certainly have it in you to create your future.
Let’s be really clear here, nobody knows what they’re doing!! The key to your life is to ask what you really want. Keep asking. Ask yourself about everything you desire in your life.
Then go get it.
