A previously unseen chapter of Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was published Saturday by The Guardian.
According to The Guardian, “The Vanilla Fudge Room” was cut from an early draft of the book and was considered wild and not moral enough for British children of the time. The chapter details a visit to a mountain of vanilla fudge and demonstrates that Dahl originally planned to have ten children instead of five.

Ignoring Wonka's instructions, two previously unseen boys, Wilbur Rice and Tommy Troutbeck, ride on wagons filled with fudge before disappearing in a hole in the room that leads to The Pounding and Cutting Room.
“The Vanilla Fudge Room” was in Dahl's papers after his death but was not included in the published version.
